Most living things are made up of one or more cells. These are more cells from our bodies and from plants.

Skin 3 Here's a side view of dried, peeled skin. Most of what you see is the layers of keratinized epidermis, made up of lots of layers of squashed-down cells. This is magnified about 400 times.
