More insects we rarely see - and (perhaps) wish we never do.

Deer Tick This is Ixodes daimmini, the deer tick that carries the bacterium that causes Lyme disease. The tick can get the bacteria from deer and at least 15 more kinds of wild animals. Then when it bites another animal, like a human, it transmits the bacteria to them.
