 Mixed Bacteria on a Leaf Here are at least two kinds of bacteria that were growing on the surface of a leaf. The blue ones are rod-shaped bacilli, and the yellow ones are spherical cocci. Sometimes several kinds of bacteria can live together, but other times they fight for territory by poisoning other types, and then you would only see one kind in one place. |
