Damsel Fly
Damsel Fly

Damselflies are closely related to dragonflies. Both have large heads with very large eyes and long bodies. Dragonflies hold their wings spread when they rest, while damselflies hold their wings up. There are nearly 5000 species of dragon and damselflies. Most lay eggs in or very near water, and on a lazy summer day adults can be seen skimming puddles, ponds, lakes and inflatable swimming pools.
